Amanda Little
Director of Primary Servicing
As head of Primary Servicing, Amanda Little manages client relationships in that area and coordinates the work of asset managers and analysts working on complex commercial mortgage loan transactions.
Her experience and expertise in both primary and special servicing has been gained from her 20-plus years in the industry. She is well versed in lender-borrower relationships, having been involved in myriad sub-performing and non performing transactions.
Amanda joined Hatfield Philips in 2002 as an Asset Manager, soon advancing to the position of Associate Director. She was appointed Director of Primary Servicing in August 2008. She is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Clarence Dixon
Managing Director
Over a commercial real estate career spanning more than 20 years, Clarence Dixon has worked in or managed companies in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
He came to Hatfield Philips as Managing Director in 2008 from Texas-based Northcorp, Inc., where in his position as managing director his responsibilities included German primary and special servicing platforms. He was instrumental in establishing Germany’s first and largest third-party mortgage servicer which, within four years, grew to hold over 13 billion euro in assets under management.
An author of numerous articles for European financial services publications, Clarence is a member of CMSA and the International Banker Forum, and is a guest lecturer at the Bank Academy in Mannheim, Germany.

Mark C Miller
Managing Director
Mark Miller joined Hatfield Philips in 2008 as a Managing Director, bringing with him over 20 years of active commercial real estate and loan workout experience gained at the Atlanta office of the current parent company, LNR Property Corporation. During his time there he was instrumental in creating the German NPL servicing platform that was responsible for the resolution of €2bn of commercial and residential sub-performing and non-performing loans.
His experience in commercial loan workouts, commercial real estate asset management, and acquisitions and development serves him well in overseeing the firm’s Special Servicing operations. He is also responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Hatfield Philips European operation.
Mark has an MBA from Georgia State University and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989.

Christian Daumann
Managing Director – Frankfurt
Christian Daumann joined the company in 2008 from Morgan Stanley and is responsible for the management and operations of the Frankfurt office, including asset and loan management, accounting and reporting, human resources and information technology. In less than two years after joining Hatfield Philips, Christian had built the special servicing business in Frankfurt from literally zero to 2.5 billion euro, representing by far the largest third party CMBS Special Servicing provider in continental Europe.
Christian joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 where he was responsible for the real estate asset management for the German, Swedish and Dutch core assets, totalling in excess of € 1.2 billion Assets under management, also Christian oversaw the German NPL investments.
Prior to this, Christian had a 9 year career in German Banks, focusing on restructurings, workout of national and multinational real estate collateralised loans and real estate asset management.
Christian graduated from the University of Bayreuth law school and holds two state qualifications in law.

Matthew Grefsheim
Director of Special Servicing
Matthew Grefsheim is one of the top loan workout specialists in Europe. He joined Hatfield Philips in November 2008 following a 19-year career that includes managing the workout of troubled loans and commercial real estate assets, nonperforming loans and real estate tax liens, as well as asset management and real estate development projects in the United States.
In 2004, he joined the London office of Morgan Stanley Mortgage Servicing, rising to the position of Executive Director in charge of primary and special servicing asset management for European commercial and residential securitised and balance sheet loan portfolios totalling approximately $25 billion.
Previous experience includes roles at the Resolution Trust Corporation, at a private equity group as a purchaser of non performing loans and real estate tax liens, managing real estate development projects in Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, and as an asset manager at Crimi Mae, responsible for more than $200 million in delinquent loans.

Mike Brown
Director of Asset Administration
Mike Brown joined Hatfield Philips as an Asset Manager at the company's founding in 1997. His first responsibility was the Special Servicing of nonperforming commercial loans originated by Barclays Mercantile, where he had previously spent 11 years.
Following the firm's rating as a Primary and Special Servicer by both Fitch and Standard & Poor's in 1999, he was appointed Loan Servicing and Administration Manager, and was instrumental in the introduction of the company's first loan servicing systems. In 2003 he was appointed company secretary and treasurer of Hatfield Philips.
Following a move in 2006 to Morgan Stanley Mortgage Servicing as Vice President for the servicing of their commercial loans in London, Frankfurt and Rome, he rejoined Hatfield Philips in November 2008 as Director of Asset Administration.

Dr. Stewart Hotston
Director of Compliance and Investor Relations
Dr. Stewart Hotston joined Hatfield Philips in 2009 as Director of Compliance and Investor Relations. His responsibilities include reviewing and signing off all material decisions regarding day to day asset management as well as work out and disposal decisions. Additionally, Stewart also deals with contractual negotiations, managing third parties such as agencies, investors and legal counsel. The Compliance function oversees the monitoring of all risk factors for assets managed by Hatfield. The Reporting function manages all interaction with investors and the wider market, including publication of CMSA standard reports, for each and every securitised deal serviced by Hatfield Philips.
Prior roles included responsibility for structuring and developing CMBS, CLO/CDO and RMBS, as well as managing securitization transactions from conception to successful issuance. Project experience includes working with multiple parties including legal counsel, rating agencies, borrowers, investors and lenders to bring together competing agendas and successfully deliver transactions on time.
He has extensive experience modelling and delivering complex capital structures, ranging in size from £500m to £10bn and designed to be attractive to investors and the market in general.
