As part of our international platform, Hatfield Philips Deutschland is an integral part of the Hatfield Philips Group.

Hatfield Philips Deutschland (HPD) is the wholly owned German operating subsidiary of Hatfield Philips International (HPI), located in the German banking city of Frankfurt.

Hatfield Philips Deutschland is one of the largest independent commercial real estate servicers in Germany. HPD started its operations in 2007, focusing on primary servicing of small to mid –size commercial loans.  Today, HPD provides Primary and Special Servicing for large and mid size, German and German language securitizations and Commercial Real estate Loans. Hatfield Philips Deutschland specializes in German Loan Servicing, and specifically German workout.

HPD has numerous German clients and a team of more than 20 associates with a range of expertise from loan underwriting, commercial real estate, asset management, CMBS structuring to asset management.

In 2008, HPD launched its Special Servicing operation. Leveraging off the depth of knowledge of its local real estate expertise and track record in restructuring, enforcement and workout, HPD took advantage of this existing footprint. These resources enabled HPI, through its subsidiary, to establish a German Special Servicing operation. This consistently proves to be a major advantage over its competitors.

HPD has vast experience in managing local borrowers, property managers, brokers and asset managers while having a wide ranging network  of legal advisors, valuers and insolvency practitioners which  ensures that all facets of managing the loan, whether performing or non-performing, are in skilled and competent hands.     

HPD Primary and Special Servicing operates in the context of overall HPI Corporate and European operations. IT infrastructure, corporate-wide area network and main business applications are principally supported by HPI London. Overall functions such as Reporting and Compliance are steered and overseen by the London parent HPI. Policies and Procedures applied in HPD mirror their equivalents in the London operations.
